'You Can Find Inspiration in Everything...and If You Can't, Look Again! '  book is a powerful insight into the way Paul Smith sees. I'm not sure I really understood before this book just how great it feels being able to see everything as an inspiration. I didn't understand his fascination with Japan, now I want to know more about japan and other cultures.

Like a lot of people on Etsy, I've always felt drawn to creative things. even as a little kid, I'd put patters on my drawings in obsessive detail. I love patterns and unexpected colour combinations. My pendants often incorporate both those things, as well as my belief that jewelry should be fun! I draw my inspiration from: my obsessive love of finches, patterns found in nature, fairytales, travel and a million other things. When I look at anything, I'm usually thinking about how I could translate at least part of that into a pendant.

Through RUSSH Magazine I keep in touch with Australian Fashion which is a strong whisper of an influence on global trends. Design labels like Lover and Sass and Bide have a beautiful ease in their collections, and simply they are there to be truly loved.

On Lover's Website, which is a great website, they have a love section. There strength of character echoes in their courage to give us this information, from which we will judge the brand on. Even if I didn't like the music they like, I love them because they have the heart to tell us. It's down to earth and totally refreshing.
